Short sleeve retro tee with the Greatest American Hero emblem and broadcasting dates on front. The original Greatest American Hero aired for 3 seasons (1981-1983) and featured, teacher Ralph Hinkley, Agent Bill Maxwell and lawyer Pam Davidson. The show chronicled Ralph's adventures after aliens gave him a red suit with superhuman powers. Ralph was an awkward kinda hero and it was fun to see him learning how to use the suit. A failed spin-off was attempted in 1986, “The Greatest American Heroine”, where Ralph and Bill found a young teacher, Holly Hathaway to wear the suit. The show never aired as a series but was re-edited and added to syndication of the original show for which it became a finale of sorts. The theme song, "Believe It or Not" became more popular than the show, "Believe it or not, I’m walkin’ on air, I never thought I could feel so free, flyin’ away on a wing and prayer, who could it be, believe it or not,it’s just me”! I loved that song! Now, you can wear the emblem and be a Great American Hero too!
