Short sleeve retro tee with Deadbox graphic on front. Depending where you lived, you played Skully or Skelsies (NYC) or Deadbox or Bottlecaps (Philly). I played Deadbox and this is the closest example of how I played. A box was drawn in the street with chalk. In the box, were 13 numbered boxes. 1 to 12 surrounded the corners and sides and 13 went in a center box surrounded by 4 “dead zones” marked with skulls. Bottlecaps were used to play and sometimes filled with melted wax to weight the cap for maximum playability! You shot (flicked) the cap from 1 to 13. If you landed in the numbered box without touching the lines you shot again. If not, it was your opponents turn. If you landed in a dead zone, you were stuck until another player knocked you out. After shooting 1 to 13, you shot into each dead zone and became a “killer”. Now you had to knock your opponent’s caps out of the box -- the last cap remaining was the winner!
